Meet Stuart, Marybeth and Sunshine, owners, roasters and doggy supervisor of Uncontained Coffee.

Pushing into a new decade of our lives we found ourselves feeling a little too comfortable in our 2,000 square foot home. We sold our furniture, got rid of all of our Tupperware with no lids, cleared out the unnecessary and packed away our few precious items. We moved into our recently renovated Bounder AKA home on wheels. We chose an unconventional path in order to more freely pursue our passions, which happen to include everything coffee.

As we sat in our tiny “new” home, sipping coffee and eating squares of chocolate we contemplated what to name our new blue shipping container and coffee roaster sitting inside it. Uncontained Coffee came to mind. It wasn’t a “real word” Marybeth told Stuart, but it fit.

We constantly find ourselves bumping up against the walls that society and our minds try to build around us. We find ourselves happiest when we can burst through those walls, release our passions, our goals, our joys, our sadness,
our weaknesses and strengths; Uncontained, not constrained.
